‘Sleep In It’ is the gritty new single from Sydney rock'n’roll band C.O.F.F.I.N. It’s a heavy rock cut at its core, with a lolloping beat sitting behind lilting riffs and plenty of hard-hitting instrumental breaks. Vocalist/drummer Ben Ulitzka Portnoy is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here, with his vocal shrieks and splashy drums carrying the track’s vibe. “It's about the consequence of a lopsided life and a longing for relationships with yourself and others to feel nourished and full,” they explain. “Fronting the fields you've failed to tend to.” This is the band’s first release through p(doom) Records, and they’ll soon be premiering the documentary 10,000 Miles From Oslo.
