Prolific since his teens, Danish producer and composer Jakob Littauer details his debut album as Yangze. Noted as one of the youngest to have played Berlin's Berghain club (at 16 with his techno outfit Electrojuice), there's a depth and sophistication to 'Okay' that feels like something special. Even without headphones, the bass it heavy, rounded and all-consuming. Reminiscent at times of ethereal moments on Kelala's Raven, jangling guitars set 'Okay' apart from a lot of modern electronica. Love at first listen for us, we'll be keeping a beady eye (and ear) on Yangze in the run up to the release of Heartbreak Stew on the 21st of November.
