‘Echo Chamber’, is Welsh quartet WRKHOUSE’s confrontation of chronically online culture. It’s an interesting lo-fi-tinged track that places huge indie-pop hooks above an arrangement that blends layers of guitars, abrasive synth stabs and a deceptively distant drum machine beat. Despite some occasionally chaotic textures, ‘Echo Chamber’ is a tight, neat track. “I found myself one day all of a sudden completely fed up with the faceless names spilling garbage across the web,” explains vocalist and songwriter Lewys Meredydd Siencyn. “This song is essentially a playful nudge to all the bots and internet arguments to leave the basement and go touch some green grass.” The band have also announced their new EP, Method Actor, which drops on November 27th, 2026, via Wipe Out Music.
