‘Lovesick’ is the new single from thriving quintet Wishy. The band’s brand of sunny, dreamy indie is swooning and nostalgic, evoking The Cure at their most buoyant and underpinned by the hazy, distorted textures of shoegaze. “There’s not much more that needs to be said about yearning in 2026, but here it is anyway,” adds vocalist Nina Pitchites. “Kevin and I are stupidly romantic people who like twee pop so that combination alone was a recipe for a cheeky ‘main character’ song. We really leaned into the overzealous lyrics here because 1) we’re allowed, 2) can do whatever we want and 3) it’s fun.” ‘Lovesick’ is taken from Wishy’s new album, Nature’s Pill, which drops on October 2nd, 2026, via Winspear.
