French dream-indie artist Vivienne has released her latest single, ‘Unwanted’. It’s an exposed, emotionally vulnerable track that reflects the period of heartbreak it was written during. “The song is about feeling like things are unfair, trying not to show your wounds when all you really need is to be heard,” she says. “I've often felt like I was putting all my energy into proving myself, constantly working on myself, trying to meet other people's needs, expectations, and desires.” Musically, the track cuts between delicacy and restraint, and explosions into dingy, murky grunge. The track is taken from Vivienne’s upcoming second EP, due for release in 2027.
