venbee has released the fantastic, emotional ‘song 2’. It’s a big shift in her songwriting style, with exposed guitar and piano underpinning her lyrics about the harsh realities of living on the breadline. She describes it as “is the most vulnerable thing i've written and i feel so nervous about having a song that isn't dance, but the story is so important to me and i hope it resonates with those who need it.” ‘song 2’ marks a stark contrast to the feel-good records that fill her current EP, back to the drawing board, which is out now. She has also announced a residency this October at the Bermondsey Social Club.
