‘Repetitions’ is the new single from Singapore slowcore band Vegtable. With this cut, the band leans into the restrained, almost static energy that makes them unique. The drums are almost untouched at points, while a simple, thin-textured guitar and bass combo support a haunting voice. Guitarist and vocalist Daniel says: “The original version sounded like a Slow Pulp track, but our drummer Shenen insisted on cutting down as much as possible. He will even suggest sometimes not playing the drums at all. So the song ended up being something completely different. I don’t know what Jerieil is talking about in the lyrics, and when I asked her, she’s very avoidant about the meaning.” The band’s debut album, Hit By A Car, is out on October 16th, 2026, via Field Work Recordings.
