‘See, Saw’ is the latest single from London-based French artist Vanessa Bedoret. It’s a compelling, minimalist track built above a unique compositional sensibility that places her classical background at the forefront, but flecks it with an experimentalism that reflects a love of punk and dance music as her delicate falsetto creeps across acoustic guitar and evocative strings. The track is “about how differently we perceive the passing of time. Enjoyable moments seem to disappear very quickly, while difficult, boring or uneventful moments can feel extremely long.
