‘DIVA CLUB’ is the euphoric latest cut from Austria-born, Berlin-based artist UCHE YARA. It’s a pulsating, enigmatic track built on looping percussion, unusual synth sounds and experiments with space and rhythm. It’s less of a typical club-ready song, and more of a strange, hypnotic anthem of encouragement. “It started as a playful, tongue-in-cheek character piece, full of exaggeration and camp energy,” she says. “But after performing the song live, I realized that its lighthearted goofiness transforms into something genuinely empowering.
