‘Wet Brain’ is the latest effort from Brooklyn-based rock band TVOD. The track is a thrilling piece of modern punk, finding powerful alt-rock choruses amongst the off-kilter jitter of their Squid influences. In just two minutes, they drift from a minimalistic intro into a blast of chant-along vocals and thick distorted textures. The band say: “Slacker idiot anthem that first debuted at SXSW 2025. Inspired by ruining relationships, concurrent hair of the dogs, and wishing you had never said that dumb thing to your now ex. A post-punk tribute to Sixteen Candles.” The sextet are dropping their second album, The Farm, on October 16th, 2026, via Mothland.
