‘Fuzzy Features’ is the new single from Cardiff-based garage rock band The Family Battenberg. The track is actually one of the first the band wrote, and has become a live staple over time. It’s a stomping track full of glam rock audatiousness, wild riffs and flamboyant guitar solos, topped by a vocal performance that remains remarkably restrained throughout. On the track’s lyrics, vocalist/guitarist Eliot Joomnes says: “I’m obsessed with the cryptids of America, and ‘Fuzzy Features’ is about the Mothman of West Virginia. We wanted to make a happy clappy T-Rex song, and it just proved itself live. We played it since the start of the band, it’s one of the first songs we’d ever recorded. It would be jarring if it wasn’t on the album now. The new version finally does justice for what the song is to us.” The band’s forthcoming album, Super Deluxe, is out on November 20th, 2026, via Stolen Body Records.
