London-based singer-songwriter Talia Rae has revealed a new track in the form of ‘Julia (With My Dad At Arsenal)’. It’s a tender, emotional ballad that she says the new song is “written from the perspective of my dad as if I am Julia. It’s about me growing up from a teenager to a young adult, and him learning to let his baby girl go. My dad and I have always been very close, and he’s been there for me through every step and every milestone.” Musically, the track is built above a haunting piano accompaniment, and grows subtly alongside her soulful voice toward a cinematic string-backed climax.
