Rising Australian quartet Swapmeet have unleashed their fantastic new single, ‘I Know!’. The track finds its place between fuzzy alt-rock and a jangly take on modern pop, all wrapped in the subtle textures of shoegaze. It’s a shimmering track, underpinned by the infectious energy of percussion and a memorable topline. Guitars and vocalist Venus O’Broin says that the tune “was written accidentally - a song arising from an in-between practice jam. Unlike the other songs on the album, this song kind of wrote itself. The lyrics alike arose pretty spontaneously too, without much over-analysing or fluff.” The band have just been signed to Winspear, so keep an eye out for more over the course of 2026.
