An emo at heart, the Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist isn't a stranger to record deals, having been snapped up at just 14 in a previous project. Now working on his own terms, Kali Priya Flanagan's experimentally-inclined work touches on cornerstones of pop and folk with a rawness that feels wild and untamed. Created in collaboration with avant-garde cellist Omeed Almassi, 'In The Gold Room' arrives with a live video that comes as a welcome snapshot into the project's world. With an appropriately angsty title, My Piledriver Heart will be released on the 16th of October.
