Sparklmami
List Pick
October 12, 2026
Sparklmami turns infatuation into a lesson in self-recognition on 'si' a playful, groove-led reflection on seeing yourself in someone else. Built around shimmering synths, ’80s-leaning electric piano and elastic rhythms, the track carries a warmth that makes its introspection feel effortless. 'When I look at you, I learn about myself,' she sings to the mirror, before tracing the silhouette of her fascination and keeping it close. Even the cheeky 'I hit em with a cease and exist / see, I exist' lands as both wordplay and declaration. Made in LA shortly after Sparklmami was laid off from her job, 'si' captures a moment of uncertainty that, a year on, the uncertainty that sparked it has become part of the story- and the song now carries the perspective she couldn’t have had when she wrote it.
