Returning after three years away, acclaimed Norwegian indie-folk songwriter Siv Jakobsen has dropped ‘The Fixer’. The song transforms from its serene piano-led opening into a beautiful bloom of horns and strings, complemented by a layered vocal arrangement. Of the track, she says: “Setting boundaries is difficult, especially for a fixer. The fixer is a song about my tendency to lose myself in others, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.
