American artist and composer Sheherazaad is putting out her debut LP Khudgarzi on 20th November via boundary-pushing label Erased Tapes, and has released new track 'Registaan' alongside a live performance video in preparation for the release. It's a beautiful, enigmatic track, full of space and texture. Indian singer-songwriter Daatri Dadhich also features on 'Registaan', lending the piece even more depth; it's a subtly powerful piece of work.

Sheherazaad has this to say about the track:

“‘Registaan’ is based in a crass desertland wherein really lonely women emerge,” Sheherazaad explains. “These girls attempt to begin life, where life goes to die. The wilderness of feminine solitude. Brutality as a soothing hymn.”
