This new track from Sam Akpro lives up to its title: slightly out-of-focus, richly textured piece of indie-electronica, 'Gauzy' is pleasingly understated and low-lit. Yet as laidback as it feels, there's a great deal of detail and invention here, from its glitchy percussion and swelling bass to the gaseous synths that frame Akpro's conversational singing. Perhaps best of all is the guest appearance from HORNET, whose crystal-clear vocal throws the track's contours into beautifully sharp relief.

'Gauzy' is taken from Sam Akpro's new EP, out tomorrow on ANTI- Records.
