British electronic artist Richard Norris has revealed his transportive new track, ‘River’s Song’. It’s an immediately dreamy piece, opening with a memorable top-line that takes its time to distort as plucked arpeggios and warm bass tones appear, guiding it toward an eerie wash of analogue textures. He describes it as “a hazy, languid piece. It's a reflective, slightly lo-fi score to accompany the flickering visions of a scratched old reel of 8mm film, with a river slowly running by.” Norris’ new solo album, 8MM, is due for release on June 23rd, 2026, via State of Mind.
