Oslo-based singer-songwriter and composer Resa Saffa Park has revealed her new single, ‘Forever as Her Friend’. It’s a cinematic piece that combines a range of influences – indie, jazz, soul, even trip-hop – into a beautiful, peaceful folk landscape that transitions into a gently lilting chorus underpinned by guitar and drums. She says this is a song “about a friendship that meant a lot to me, one that changed in a way I still don’t fully understand. It's a story of holding on to something that once felt permanent, and feeling it slowly come to an end without knowing how to accept it.
