Regina Collage

May 18, 2026
Ukrainian artist Regina Collage has dropped her new piece of experimental pop, ‘Vpiznavaty’. It’s a lo-fi, intimate track sung entirely in Ukrainian about burnout and exhaustion. It is propelled by a prominent, upbeat drum pattern, but that is juxtaposed by the slow, lilting rhythms of guitar and a wash of unmoving synth chords. Her voice is distant and melancholic, yet subtly melodic. Collage is planning to release a new album later in the year, and in the meantime adds: “It is important for me to speak about Ukraine and remind people that the war has not ended. Some of my friends are fighting and some are still making music. They were musicians before the invasion and everything changed for them. My hometown, Kharkiv, is under constant attack. My parents are there. Even if it is not always in the news, it is happening every day.”
