Norfolk band Read The Room have unleashed their excellent new effort, ‘Discipline’. It immediately reveals the band’s heavier side, with shades of Don Broco and Biffy Clyro appearing from within the thick riffs and enormous hooks. Despite moments of math rock inspiration adding a layer of complexity to the track, it is propelled by its deeply personal lyrics. “I often become overwhelmed by mundane tasks,” says frontwoman Alana of the track’s inspiration. “But ultimately my world isn't falling apart and this was written to remind me that it's really not that big of a deal, to be grateful, and to simply have some discipline.” The track is accompanied by a unique 360-degree video.
