London-based Ukrainian artist Powerplant has revealed his new track, ‘Running Cross’. It’s a manic track that opens with frantic metal blast beats, before dropping down into some kind of electronic, punk entity topped with a weirdly addictive hook. There are midi strings, jazz chords and jagged indie guitars – a true piece of experimentalism that has somehow ended up extremely catchy. “Like the rest of the album, inspired by Kentaro Miura's 'Berserk' and everything it was inspired by too,” explains Powerplant. “I would say 'I'm making Limgrave Beats' through working on this LP.” Powerplant’s new album, Bridge Of Sacrifice, is out now via Arcane Dynamics.
