Translating aptly to 'Flute For You', Orchestra Mambo International lean fully into the Cuban and Latin roots of mambo, salsa and pachanga here, drawing on the sound and spirit of the 1950s and ’60s while keeping the track feeling distinctly alive in the present. There’s consistency and movement throughout, with the flute dancing over the percussion and rhythm section, giving the track its warmth and personality. It’s joyful, melodic and deeply infectious and familiar.

The collective brings together musicians from Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Spain, Brazil and the UK, and that international makeup feels right at home in their sound.
