‘Head Over Heels’ is the latest release from TMR favourite, NEDA. This one is a real earworm, with her effortless gift for a classic indie pop melody taking centre stage. The unique blend of country and Persian influences that define many of her other tracks aren’t as overt here, but still provide the initial inspiration for her songwriting style. ‘Head Over Heels’ is taken from NEDA’s new EP, And Then Came September. On the EP, she says: “The songs move through different stages of love and loss, from the quiet finality of ‘Leave’ to the complicated feeling of seeing someone you once loved move on in ‘Head Over Heels’. Writing this project helped me realise that the things that are meant for you tend to stay.”
