Montreal-born, Portugal-based singer-songwriter mokina has unveiled her new song, ‘Fool’. The track is tender and full of textured indie-folk that balances her restrained melodic style with lo-fi production and bursts of sweeping, hypnotic synth and vocal arrangements. On another collaboration with producer Jeremy Lachance, mokina shares: “I’m always surprised by what happens when Jeremy and I get in the studio with a two-chord progression. The demo of this song was, in my opinion, one of the least convincing of the record and somehow it is coming out as the single.
