Born in Leeds and raised between Lake Como and Milan before returning to the UK at 17, KINGH creates with the kind of perspective that comes from constantly moving between worlds and cultures, something you can feel throughout her music. On ‘Dare To Dream’, she leans fully into a soulful optimism that feels increasingly rare without losing any depth or weight in the process. Produced by Shy FX, the track glides on warm rare-groove textures and drums, rich, glossy and instantly transportive. Inspired by Viola Wills 'Dare To Dream', there’s a softness to the production, but it still carries the pulse of sound-system culture underneath. KINGH’s voice sits beautifully at the centre of it all; emotive, controlled and completely unforced as she moves through themes of faith, ambition and trusting your own vision even in uncertain moments. You can hear the blend of influences that shaped her, from street soul to funk and classic neo-soul, but it never feels referential for the sake of it. Instead, ‘Dare To Dream’ feels grounded in instinct and purpose, like an artist stepping fully into her own world.
