‘dreams’ is the atmospheric debut single from new artist KID 12. It’s a texturally unconventional track, but one that ends up forming a feeling of serenity that wraps KID 12’s hushed voice in a hazy warmth and subtle power. The London-based artist first started to make music at just fourteen during lockdown. Now, aged 21, she is unveiling a sound that finds the power in restraint and aims to find a connection with communities that feel isolated themselves.
