‘Green Grow the Laurels’ is taken from Josienne Clarke’s upcoming album of traditional folk reworkings. It’s a tenderly arranged piece that gives her voice room to breathe and explore above a simple, wandering guitar. Clarke’s upcoming album, Regenerene MMXXVI, is due for release on November 20th, 2026, via Corduroy Punk. “The folk tradition is, or at least should be, a living organism,” Clarke says of the work. “Expanding, contracting, evolving and adapting to an ever-changing landscape, but remaining constant in its ability to process change.”
