It’s a propulsive track that brings together the band’s unique blend of bass-heavy rock influences and widescreen synths that push the track in a danceable, electronic-forward direction. The duo say that ‘Gathering Dust’ “is a song about stagnation and breaking free from it, and about how sometimes the key to doing so lies in things that are sitting on the shelf that you may have missed.” Keep an eye out for more to come from Hex Girlfriend, with some big announcements planned in 2027, as well as a London show on September 16th, 2026.
