‘Devotion’ is a new piece of delicate indie-folk from Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Grace Elizabeth Harvey. While her voice and lyrics guide the track, her background in cello has allowed her to develop a beautifully layered sound in which her open-tuned guitar provides particularly striking harmonies and countermelodies. She says of the track: “It's a song about the intrinsic need we have to connect with others and the emptiness we experience when communication breaks down. Words abandon us just as people can, and we depend on them in the same way.” Harvey’s upcoming EP, Songs Of Devotion, is due for release on October 16th, 2026.
