Frankie Archer has revealed her latest single, ‘The Dance Of Death’. The Northumbrian artist specialises in a unique brand of alt-folk, and this new track is no different. It’s a hypnotic blend of organic, earthy vocals and interesting electronics that provide a subtle atmosphere full of twists and turns, which eventually come together to form a catchy, uplifting electro-pop chorus. “The song echoes the idea that excessive grieving can disturb the dead, and plays out in a conversation between a woman and her lost love,” he explains. “I really wanted to focus on the joy and love in the relationship, celebrating the closeness and tenderness of the two souls in the story.” Her debut album, The Dance Of Death, is out on June 5th, 2026, via purr of the bear.
