‘First Girl On The Moon’ is the latest track from London-based singer-songwriter Erica Manzoli. It’s an optimistic tracked wrapped up as a piece of nostalgic, shimmering sci-fi. She brings textures such as theramin and omnichord into the track to hark back to the days of early broadcast, and tops them with her own restrained, yet deeply melodic toplines. She says the track is “inspired by the space age optimism and retro futurism of the 1960s.
