Acclaimed producer and sound engineer Brett Bullion (aka deep glens), has dropped a new offering in ‘guire sleepover’. His creative electronic musical style is built around experimentation and indeterminism and this track is no exception. Analogue tape loops are selected at random and combined, before being processed and turned into the mesh of ambient, thought-provoking sound we hear on ‘guire sleepover’. The track is taken from deep glens’ new album, carver, which is out now. He says: “It's a record that, in its own way, fits alongside Fennesz, William Basinski, Steve Reich, and early ambient Eno. It's a morphing composition of chance constructed out of hundreds of analog tape loops that I tried to make unique and beautiful.”
