The second album from Boston rock band Cut The Kids In Half arrives later this year with their new single, ‘Wild Rabbit’, out now. The five-piece has an interesting sound that takes influence from just about every era of rock, with a gritty, bluesy twang hitting against a semi-spoken, swaggering 90s indie delivery while the moody atmosphere of grunge contends with complex proggy rhythms. “This is a song about the human paradox,” Jack Silver explains. “We want freedom, but we cling to our habits. We want love, but we settle for flesh. We feed the beast that feeds on us. ‘Wild Rabbit’ is an ode to crookedness. I was chasing a wiry, ramshackle sound. A feeling between panic, fury, and release. The band shelved this song for nearly a year, but that titular line in the chorus kept finding me. It took hold of me one long night in July, as I wondered what made me so restless.” The track is taken from Animals On Angel Dust, which drops on December 11th, 2026.
