Originally released by London-based Finnish artist Count Jaakola in 2025, ‘Erica’ has been remixed by Alice Hubble. The original, a warm, understated blend of analogue synths and pop melodies, has been taken to further electronic extremes by Hubble and her collection of synths. Her remix opens the track up, giving Jaakola’s airy melodies more room to breathe amongst a Germanic synthpop texture. Jaakola says: “I've wanted to work with Alice ever since I heard ‘Polarlichter’, so I was super happy she wanted to do a remix. It makes total sense it was ‘Erica’, given Alice's penchant for synthpop.
