Brighton-based artist Cello has revealed her defiant new single, ‘Like A Tiger’. It’s an effective slice of indie-disco that centres itself around driving funk guitars and an insistent beat, laying the foundations for her effortlessly melodic voice to explore both the fun and potency of her lyrics. “I wanted it to feel like breaking free,” shares Cello on the track. “The song is about feeling like an alien, like you don’t belong, and maybe you’re not even from here.” There are notes of Robyn and Madonna threaded throughout her upcoming album, Kung Fu Disco, which is due for an Autumn 2026 release.
