Dublin-based three-piece Bucket have returned with their new single, ‘DNB’. It’s a chaotic piece of noise rock that is, as the title suggests, fueled by manic breakbeats. The track was conceived as two separate ideas that eventually became fused into one volatile, shifting musical experience. “Lyrically, the song deals with themes of social anxiety and mania,” says vocalist Cian Dahdouh. “The narrator is having an internal meltdown as they consistently fail to understand other people’s humour. Not getting a joke is somewhat of a universal experience. I wanted to imagine the most manic or psychotic reaction an individual could have in that situation and make their thoughts sound extremely dramatic and somewhat poetic.” The band released their debut EP, Muck, last year, and have plenty of releases planned throughout 2026.
