Following the brilliance of ‘bobinov’ and ‘honey bee’, Dublin alt-R&B collective Bricknasty announce their new 7-track EP with 'the dom perignons'. Set to appear on forever (released via FAMM), 'the dom perignons' taps into noughties nostalgia with a seductive bassline worthy of Destiny's Child greatness. Playful samples, glittering synths and percussive beats back up quick-fire wordplay and hook after hook. Taking a U-turn after 2 minutes, the final third of of 'the dom perignons' tells a different story. Embracing creativity and spontaneity, the band explain: "Before, we made it rocket science, but it's not rocket science. It's easy — just nice riffs, nice parts." Keep your eyes and ears on Bricknasty as we await the EP drop on the 4th of November.
