‘Bilinguialism’ is the new track from modern goth trio Bleep Test, taken from their debut EP. It’s a dark, dramatic cut that builds its uncanny atmosphere above a tense, rigid snare march and the unusual timbre of the omnichord. As the track, which lyrically draws on 130+ years of queer history, symbolism and humour, progresses, it jolts between defiant post-punk and a haunted, almost melancholy sensibility furthered by reverb-soaked backing vocals.
