‘Wings’ is the new single from Baby Dave, the solo project of Isaac Holman. Written in collaboration with rising producer and songwriter The Works, it's a hypnotic track that brings together atmospheric electronic influences, a subtle, underpinning disco beat, and powerful spoken word. There’s a sense of experimentalism running through the track, but its accessible and deeply melodic chorus ensures it stays grounded. On the lyrics, Holman says: “The words were inspired by a moth I saw in the gym. But as the song developed, they turned into something else. The song ended up being about humans, raves, life, change and bugs amongst other things. It’s open to interpretation.” Baby Dave is on tour around the UK in October 2026.
