Guildford/Brighton alt-rock quintet Aqualine have unveiled their new single, ‘Stupid Brain’. They call it “an anthem of self-frustration, capturing the feeling of being caught in a cycle of repetitive mistakes, insecurity and feeling like you've been spat out into adulthood without feeling ready. It explores the absurdity of the way we talk to ourselves internally.” It’s a punchy, train-of-thought track that drifts between eerie atmosphere, unexpected chord changes and visceral, off-kilter chunks of grating distortion.
