‘Don’t Move’ is the latest single from fresh-faced quintet Anxious. The track shows the band begin to expand from out of their emo and hardcore roots and into a more expansive alt-rock sound. It balances grit and yearning with the triumphant punch of guitars and huge vocal hooks. Vocalist Grady Allen says: “This song is about a relationship that defined my early twenties falling apart - then trying and failing to rebuild it. It’s about disengaging with reality in hopes of reclaiming the bond you’ve lost with someone, but never feeling truly close in the process. 'Don’t Move' is about knowing that feeling, but trying to ignore it in the hope that things will change.” The band are heading out on a huge US tour at the end of summer 2026.
