Out today on Domino Records, 'Garden' is the thoughtful new single from producer and songwriter Alice Barlow. Taking an appropriately tender approach, lush acoustic guitar cradles Barlow's laid-back vocal style as she navigates some of modern life's biggest struggles. Described best in her own words: “Garden is an important song to me. It’s about my deep love for nature and the world, and the collective denial of so many difficult things happening in it - climate change, genocide, war. It reflects on small things within daily life like dreams or walking my dog, and the dissonance of experiencing them with the backdrop of so much suffering.  I made it in my own garden a couple of summers ago using just guitars and my voice, and making it was a cathartic experience - it became a vessel to process a lot of those feelings.”
Accompanied by a video comprised of old family videos, 'Garden' is an intimate look at Barlow's inner world and a strikingly beautiful example of music as a kind of therapy.
