‘This Must Be The End’ is the latest single from Scottish singer-songwriter Alex Amor. It’s a dreamy tune that channels what Amor describes as “complex female rage.” She offsets the track’s peaceful synth-centred tranquility with a sonic palette that feels surprisingly harsh - heavily warped guitars and twisted saxophones find their way into the space between her airy, layered vocal. Alex Amor’s debut album, Heavenly Bodies, is out now via New York independent label, VERO Music. She says of the release: “My life has changed so much in the past few years, all of which has inspired this music. I just needed to come home to myself first; to feel grounded in what I was making before sharing it with others. It felt like a calling.”
