Scottish singer-songwriter Alex Amor has returned with her new single, ‘Aquamarine’. It’s a feathery, windswept and nostalgic track that sees Amor looking back on childhood summers in Scotland’s west coast. “I was in LA on a writing trip and an oracle card reader at my hotel told me I'd find my answers near a body of water,” she says. “So I did what all completely sane and rational people do: I listened to a random guy I'd just met. I ended up cycling to Manhattan Beach, where the first lyrics to Aquamarine came to me.” Musically, it’s a peaceful, simple song defined by its lilting accompaniment and Amor’s delicate, airy vocal performance. ‘Aquamarine’ is the latest taster of her upcoming debut album, Heavenly Bodies, which is out on August 21st, 2026, via New York independent label VERO Music.
