Absolute Lilt, made up of duo Lisa Canny and Niamh Hinchy, have revealed their new single, ‘Dreaming In Lilt’. The track is built above a slow, hazy percussion loop that forms a bed for their interesting blend of R&B and traditional Irish melodies. Their voices intertwine almost imperceptibly, creating something almost transcendent in its airy, magnetic energy, without a need for lyrics. The pair say: “This is something different for us. We wanted to fuse Irish lilt with a world music feel and create a hypnotic soundscape to get lost in. One of our favourites from the EP.” The EP in question is the upcoming 7-track Criostal, which will be released on July 31st, 2026, via Heavenly Recordings.
