Rising from the ashes of their revered former outfit PALM, left-field electronic noisemakers Kassie Krut rose to prominence in 2024. Politely re-introducing themselves with the dangerously addictive 'Reckless' in the Autumn, their recently released self-titled EP is one of the boldest releases that we've heard for a while. Sitting firmly in their own, instantly recognisable, lane, the trio's visceral take on punky alt-pop and electronica is an uncompromising breath of fresh air. With only a US support tour with Toro Y Moi and Panda Bear currently announced in the way of upcoming live shows, we'll be patiently waiting for the Philly experimentalists to make their way across the pond. -Holly Mullineaux
