Electronic duo Zodiac have dropped their new single, ‘Genesis’, featuring vocals from Jaljia. The innovative London pairing have crafted an absorbing piece of Afro-House here, with cinematic textures underpinning a powerful, melodic voice that unravels into an addictive, percussive instrumental section defined by pulsating synths and syncopated string stabs. “We had the title Genesis in mind for a while and really wanted to create a song that would take listeners on a journey” says Zodiac of the release. “When our team arranged the session with Jalja and Lucy Songi, we knew it was the perfect combination to bring this vision to life.” Keep an eye out for more from Zodiac in the coming months. -Dan Peeke
