Two pillars of London's experimental scene, Voka Gentle & Bo Ningen combine on their bold new opus 'First Snow'. Gestating over seven minutes or so, the piece offers the best of both bands, combining glitchy electronics with percussive guitar work and propulsive rhythm section. With both outfits contributing their distinctive vocal styles, 'First Snow' is a true masterclass in collaboration. Building from an eerie and restrained intro to an inevitable and entirely satisfying wig-out, the accomplished pairing cover sonic vast ground, channelling Aphex Twin, and Krautrock greats Can with visceral and unique flair.
